Creativity and New Media

For this assignment I created and account on "Second Life", I didn't know about it before, it is kind of fascinating to see my avatar walking in a virtual world, there seems to be other users , not sure if these are the avatars of real people or is it still a demo. I noticed that wee can actually meet other people's avatars and can make friends. We can also shop here , everything seems perfect , there are so many worlds to explore. Although I am unable to take a screen shot , there was a problem and i was keep getting the following message while clicking the travel like for world. I think something was wrong with my computer. But I am still exploring it and find it very interesting.
Oh at first i didn't realize that we need to login the one we downloaded and then chose a category and explore it. Then choose a category and walk around chat with people's avatar, dance etc go shop and have fun. I entered into the "Satorini" and changed my appeareance and looked around a little bit, since still getting hold of my movements through arrow keys.
